Once Upon A Time…In the 1930’s my grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Cornelius, had a general store called the Mountain Creek Store. They served the rural community between present day Kellyville and Bristow just 4 miles south of Route 66 and only 25 minutes Southwest of Tulsa.

They made their home next to the store and built the rock barn around 1940 as part of their working cattle ranch. The store burned down in the 1950’s but the homestead and the rock barn remained.

In 2010 our family decided to restore the barn and preserve not only our family history but also a bit of Oklahoma history as well.

There is a large living area downstairs, 2 large bedrooms upstairs, the main dining room, 2 gas fireplaces, 3 full size bathrooms, and a large patio on the East side of the lodge with a water feature. The full size kitchen makes sure you have ample room to prepare for your guests.

"Staycations" are available as a stand alone opportunity or can be added to your event.

If serving alcohol we require Liquor Liability Insurance to be provided via a bartender or event insurance.
